Frequently Asked Questions

What does yacht charter involve?

Chartering is the ideal way of experiencing yachting - the adventure of the blue sea, the wind, the waves & peaceful anchorages away from the hustle and bustle of the rest of it all! Chartering enables you to enjoy the full benefits of yachting without the hassles involves in actually owning a yacht. The process simply involves picking the dates of your choice, reserving them, and then simply walking onto the boat on the day to find the skipper welcoming you onboard with the boat all ready and prepared. Each one of our yachts is offered with the services of a fully qualified and experienced skipper, thereby ensuring your utmost satisfaction and peace of mind. A 25% deposit is payable upon booking with the balance being paid on the boat. A full refund will be given should the charter have to be cancelled due to detrimental weather conditions.

What is the minimum / maximum period of time for which I can charter the boat?

You can charter a boat for anything ranging from a single day up to multiple days. Each one of our boats offers full comforts including double berth cabins, toilet/s, shower/s, saloon/dining area and a galley (kitchenette) with a cooker, sink and full set of cutlery & crockery

What places can we visit?

Day charter: Popular destinations include Qawra, Selmun, Mellieha, Armier, Paradise Bay, as well as the beautiful bays in Comino such as Santa Marija, San Niklaw, Blue Lagoon & Crystal Lagoon.

Two / Three day charter: Overnighting on a yacht at anchor is something which any outdoor lover must surely experience - spending a day sailing, swimming & snorkelling, dining & relaxing off whilst enjoying the scenic beauty of a sunset at sea, sleeping to the gentle sounds and motion of a boat at anchor, and waking up with the sun, for another day of adventure. Popular 2/3 day schedules include round Malta / Gozo cruises and highlights such as overnighting in the fishing village of Marsaxlokk, sailing past Filfa and the cliffs on western side of Malta & cruising around the several bays of Gozo, Comino & Malta.

Four days upwards: Cruising to Siciliy and its islands is possible with our flagship - the Beneteau 50. Sailing to another country with a sailing yacht will give you a taste of the adventure and romance which people such as Cristopher Colombus and Marco Polo savoured in the past. The trip up to Sicily takes around 9 hours (depending on weather conditions), following which moving from one destination to another is just a matter of sailing along the coast. Attractive destinations include Siracusa, Taormina, Tropea & the Eolian and Egadi islands.

The actual schedule for each charter is flexible, and the skipper will give you his recommendation for the day according to your preferences and the prevailing weather conditions.

From where do the boats leave?

Our boats are based in Msida Marina in the center of the island, with ample safe parking.

Testimonials

"We have just landed back to reality and I wanted to make sure you knew that we truly enjoyed our stay and most of all the day trip sailing with Nicky! He was very nice and took the time to explain lots of details about sailing to my husband. He also allowed us alone time which was very nice.

Thank you very much for your help with organizing this surprise. It was a success! I'm sure we'll be back!

Big thanks to Nicky!" - Pamela, France.
